Flexibility on mechanical packaging, electronic options, and optical configurations can all be coupled together to achieve the optimal illumination source. Our significant R&D team consisting of Optical, Mechanical, Electronic, and Software engineers is readily available to work on customized solutions and new product options.
At Osela, we understand that the right fit is just as important as good performance. We have created multiple options for each of our platforms so as to allow for ease of retrofitting in already designed systems as well as the ability to work around new system design constraints. Many options such as Separate Driver are available for all of our platforms which allow for smaller footprint. Elbow opto-mechanical options are also available which allow for laser projection at 900 to the body.
Being able to manufacture laser beam shaping optics in-house give us ultimate flexibility to create custom and optimized solutions. Osela offers an extensive list of focusing performance options, collimated laser line projections, industry unique hypercentric laser lines, micron focus lasers, and even extended depth of field capabilities. We have the ability to also create customized structured light patterns to micron level precision. We hold several patents in laser beam shaping, with a deeply experienced optical engineering team dedicated to pushing the boundaries.
Our laser platforms offer many different electronic driver options that can be customized to suit specific system needs. Flexible power supply options are available with built in overvoltage and reverse polarity protections across all platforms. Customized cable lengths, connectors and harnesses allow our customers to have the easiest integration possible. Options for RS232, RS485, I2C communication are also available for smart and real-time laser feedback such as lifetime estimation, temperature, output power and laser setting functions. Our laser safety expertise has also allowed us to develop integrated and custom electronic single fault protections for maximum safety and certification confidence.
